Happy Fri-yay!!
To kickstart the summer holidays, we will be hosting a Unicorn Party on Friday 26th July, from 2pm-4pm!! For just £12 per painter, your child can paint a unicorn (or poo emoji!), enjoy a children’s ‘Party on the Pond’ mocktail and dress up in their most magical outfit! Oh, and there will be a prize for the best dressed!
Please note, under 12s must be accompanied by an adult.
Our fabulous pottery painting workshops are not to be missed if you love to get creative and want to learn something new with impressive results!
Our next workshop on Friday 19th July from 7pm is now fully booked but keep an eye on our website and/or Facebook page for dates and information of the next one! The workshop will be taking place alongside our regular Adult Painting Night so if you just want to do your own thing and book in for an Adult Night, you are more than welcome to!
We run our adult painting nights every week!! They are every other Wednesday and every other Friday! The dates for 2019 are:

Wednesday 24th July, Friday 2nd August, Wednesday 7th August
Friday 16th August, Wednesday 21st August, Friday 30th August
From 6.00pm-9.30pm enjoy a relaxing child-free zone in which you can get creative and catch up with friends and family! You can bring bubbly and nibbles too!
If there are 16 or more of you, you can have the place to yourselves on a date of your choice from 6pm-9.30pm! Please call us on 01635 523778 to check availability and to book in.
Host your child’s birthday party at The Ugly Duckling and choose from two fabulous packages:
Both packages include unlimited squash for the children and balloons! You are welcome to bring food and/or a cake. Birthday parties last 2 hours including time to eat if you are doing food. Available all year round, we can help you capture memories with your little one’s hand and footprints, creating beautiful unique keepsakes to treasure! Oh, and we can do the writing for you free of charge! Plus, we have all the facilities you need from highchairs to baby changing, making The Ugly Duckling the perfect place to get creative with your little one, relax with friends or enjoy as part of an NCT group.
Unable to make it back to collect your pottery? Try foam clay, our fun and effective alternative to painting! It dries in 1-2 hours meaning you can take it away on the day. Suitable for all ages and available in gift packs to go!
Foam clay gift sets can be purchased in store. Choose your animal from our huge selection AND choose your favourite colours! All for just £12 per set or £9 for members.

Looking for baby shower ideas? Relax and get creative at The Ugly Duckling! Baby showers are £8 per head plus your pottery which includes cream tea for all (scones, jam, clotted cream and tea) as well as a mini ceramic teddy, pram or baby bottle to paint each. Or, you can do £6 per head to exclude the mini ceramic each. We provide balloons and you are more than welcome to bring additional nibbles!
Baby showers must be booked! To do so, please call us on 01635 523778! We just require a £30 deposit to secure your booking which will be refunded to you on the day. No minimum numbers needed!
